Vedic Astrology Babe

by Joe Vitale on November 28, 2007

joni_07.jpg One of my secrets to success is having a support team. One of the people on my team is the gorgeous woman in the photo. That’s Joni Patry. She’s my Vedic Astologer.

Vedic Astrology is very different than Western Astrology. The West looks at personality characteristics and generalities; the Vedic looks at specifics and makes predictions right down to the exact day when something may occur.

I’ve had numerous Vedic Astrology readings done. They are always accurate, surprising and insightful.

I’ve hired several Vedic Astrologers over the years, and I’m always impressed that their readings are almost identical.

But I keep returning to Joni for regular readings.

We never met in person until Pat O’Bryan’s Unseminar 4, which rocked the house and truly immersed people in the soul of Internet marketing.

Joni was there and is a true delight to be around. She’s famous in her field, and does readings for celebrities as well as regular folk like you and me.

She pointed out that Vedic Astrology is centuries old, and accurate to an almost alarming degree. But she added that it is never 100% accurate because of free will.

“You always have the chance to change your life,” she says. “That’s your choice. Your free will.”

I get Vedic Astrology readings so I am aware of what may be ahead, which alerts me to prepare for it or to make new decisions that may actually change or improve it.

Joni’s website is

I predict you’ll like her.

You can see her giving me a quick reading here:

Ao Akua,

PS — Joni made a prediction about my career while visiting us and within 24 hours it came true. This woman is amazing.

PPS – Joni and her husband also run a French restaurant in Dallas. I haven’t been there yet but will one day in 2008. See Sounds yummy.

Hi Joe,

I never knew that you just physically met Joni at Unseminar 4.

Wow. I only got to spend a few moments with her between sessions, and I have to agree, what a fabulous woman.

I can’t wait to work with her myself, and thank you for the reminder here!

Vedic astrology is based on the movements of planets. Zodiac was named after Zoo which means something related to animals. I hae a separate page about this on my site

I find it fascinating that if we get to create our reality moment by moment, why does astrology seem to work as well as numerology? I become friends with a professional astrologer that I met online over 12 years ago, and without her knowing my history, she said “I don’t see children in your chart”, and its true, I never had children, and I am okay with it.

Thanks for sharing, I took a peek at her site and the rates are reasonable for someone at her level of expertise.

Joe: Any idea whether Joni would recommend any Vedic astrologers in the NYC area? Might be interested in having a reading done in person. – D

Marie if that was strange how about a mind reader in Himalayas who told my mother that her two sons will get good grades. I have a brother there is no way on this green earth for the mind reader to know about my family.

Dear Joe,

We had a wild evening in our suburb last night. There was a party with lots of violence and alcohol. Mars being retrograde I was not surprised that it would be that way. It was unruly and out of control. I have had a lot of difficulties lately and this took the cake. I did not know what to do, I knew the police would not come. I was very skeptical about ho’oponopono in the past but I just thought – “what could it hurt to give it a try? It seemed so ridiculous” I was desperate to get some sleep after coming down with an illness. In an instant the yelling stopped and there was silence, nobody was yelling. I don’t know what happened after that but I fell into a deep sleep.

Thank you so much for sharing Joni with us. It made my day. I gasped when I saw her. In the Sabian Symbols which is an astrological oracle, today’s zodiac degree is Saggitarius 10 degrees “A Golden Haired Goddess of Opportunity”. I could not believe my day would come to this after last night’s breaking point for me.

Thanks for sharing

Yes Joni is the REAL deal. I meet her in person in Dallas back in the late 80s. She is very talented and VERY grounded. Unlike some, she does not talk about herself incessantly, nor brag about herself, nor blog about herself or her husband etc.

She is just a good and humble person. Not about self promotion, she just lives her life and it is a privilege to know her.

Hi Joe,
I had been studying Western Astrology and Vedic astrology for a long time since 1997 because of Joni. I meet Joni when I was in great despair and when I didn’t got true and honest answers from my psychiatrists. The first psychiatrist put me on Prozac’s, the others reap off my pocket and my problem continued. She was able at that time point to me what was going on in my life, what should I focus and how to move forward. That was when she was in Western Astrology and starting Vedic Astrology.
Then after she learned Vedic, I went to hear more about what the Universe has for me in the future and I choose to align my self with that purpose. Now there was a change in my life, and again, Vedic Astrology explained and helped me understand my present situation. I keep browsing her website, and from the distance admire this great woman that pulled me out of the sinking waters of despair.
