I am curious to hear your thoughts on ‘A New World’ by Eckhart Toll. He writes about how this constant aiming for things we want to have or do is part of the “problem”. Would love to hear your take on the book

Hi Niisa. I often say the wanting of things is the problem. What works is nonattachment to things. Nothing wrong with things as it’s all spirit. This meditation is to have you make a request, not a need, to the Divine, while remaining at one with all that is. It’s an advanced meditation.

Is the need for beauty around one also a “problem”?

I live in a physical environemnt that feeds my energy level. I have a mountain on one side and water on the other.
I have nightmares about having to move from this area. I am addicted to it.
I think I have come to “need” it.
And know this is not good with the LOA in mind.
Maybe becoming aware of this need is the first step in redefining it
I hope so.
