By this, my understanding is that we "want" something e.g. a new car, but the fact that we focus on the desire of wanting a new car, emitts the vibration of "not having a new car" & thus the "Law of Attraction / Vibration" manifests the desire. Like Joe says in his book "The Key", the thing you need to focus on is wanting something but not needing it, & being grateful for what you have right now. I too have all the books etc. & for a long while seemed to be going backwards, no matter how hard I was trying to go forwards. Presently, I seemed to have put a halt to going backwards & am in the process of just being grateful for now...Yes, I can see the 'light at the end of the tunnel' however, I wont be 'obsessive' about the desire for change immediately as I now realise this will just 'fuel' the 'vibration' of what I already do not have. It can be as small as a cup of coffee or as big as a million dollars." I said to myself, "I already believe this stuff works and I've used in my life, but I never put it way out there.....well now.....I'll put it out there...... I'm hanging out with Jessica Simpson!" And within one month, by the time we met up again for the Positive Thinker's League I had indeed hung out with Jessica Simpson and I had the pictures to prove it. What I did was- I went home and made a Vision Book and the first page was dedicated to GRATITUDE. I was so thankful to God for every single thing in my life and I tried encompassing that in a collage type page. The next page was dedicated to my husband and being thankful for him and keeping us connected. Now the third page....I said to myself, lets see if this REALLY works.....I got a few pictures of Jessica Simpson and dedicated that page to hanging out and connecting with her. And soon after, I had checked out her website and there was this link to apply to be in a ProActiv commercial with her. I sent my email with a couple of pictures and they called me about 1 hour right after I sent the email. They chose me and 12 other ladies to film us sitting around her and asking her questions and she was to answer them and sometimes bring Proactiv into it. They paid for the whole trip, flight and hotel and expenses. Also I told them that I do not use ProActiv and they said, "That's ok, we like your energy." I was the only one out of us 13 ladies chosen from all around the country that did not use Proactiv. (The whole thing was done very naturally and honestly and it was unscripted.) I must admit I did feel rather " wussy" when I began to thought of all the negative stuff I had written! I reprimanded myself, i sounded rather silly. Part of the frustration is that I live in Brunei, Borneo and I am a writer and composer but in Brunei there is no Arts Scene, no writers, no theatres and Its frustrating for me to be feeling so creative and yet having no outlet. I just want to experience a Miracle! I want to get rid of this " Bankrupt" label, I feel like a criminal. I love the Secret, but I dont fully beleive that it is a " Secret", I beleive that we all know but have perhaps " forgotten" .
