“Beyond Man”: Texas Wildfires Update

by Joe Vitale on September 15, 2011

Here’s an update on the Texas Wildfires situation that I asked you to help resolve in my last post:

The last I heard, the largest fires are mostly contained or stopped. The people I personally know in the Austin or Houston area have all returned home. And rain is expected by mid-next week.

All of your praying, meditating, visualizing and more, have all helped.

But we can’t stop now.

There are at least 1,500 people who lost their homes.

All of the fires are not out yet.

And we need more than a little rain.

To get an idea of the size of the fires, one fireman told a reporter that the fires are “beyond man.”

He was explaining that firefighters on the ground aren’t going to be able to stamp out or hose down fires so big that I could see them from the air on my plane ride home.

What do you do with fires this large?

Besides whatever the firefighters can think up, you also pray, visualize, intend and anything else you can do internally to bring peace to yourself and to the planet.

And to be clear, when I suggest that our inner world is creating our outer world, I’m asking you to look within and see where you may have “fires” burning within you.

Where have you maintained anger and/or a lack of forgiveness?

Even if you don’t think your inner state helps create the outer experience, wouldn’t you agree that finding inner peace would be good for you?

Again, please find love and peace within yourself, and release all anger and forgiveness issues.

When you hold on to anger and resentment, the energy system you burn up is your own.

It would be healthy for you to let the issues go, and it just might assist the planet in healing, too.

As I mentioned in my last post, do whatever meditation or technique you know to reach that inner place of serenity. Use ho’oponopono/Zero Limits or Tapping/EFT, or anything else you know of or can think of.

Meanwhile, we also still need to help others. Here are a few places to donate:

American Red Cross of Central Texas
http://www.centex.redcross.org/index.asp?IDCapitulo=F9ZLZNZ3KD

Austin Pets Alive
http://www.austinpetsalive.org/

Capital Area Food Bank
http://www.austinfoodbank.org/

Austin Disaster Relief Network
http://www.adrntx.org/

Catholic Diocese of Austin
http://www.austindiocese.org/

I’m not affiliated with any of the above, and they are Austin, Texas based as that is near where I live. You can do your own Google search to find other places to help or donate.

Again, what we need is inner peace, especially in times of high stress.

The outer dangers and scares aren’t a call to fall into fear, but a door to experience faith.

Thank you for your help.

Ao Akua,

Joe

PS – What’s more important than serenity while taking action?

I love you.
I’m sorry.
Please forgive me.
Thank you.

Dear Joe,

Greetings from Athens, Greece!

As I hear, things are improving in Texas.

Just a note on how much I admire your work and, above all, your ability to deal with the “nay-sayers” and “negatroids” in a calm manner!
I sincerely hope I reach that point in my life..

Best regards,

K

You should keep going Dr. Vitale as long as you love doing it because you can be sure you are helping many people and touching many lives – not all of them might be able to let you know (for example I taught my mother Ho’oponopono and never giving up om it)

Naysayer can be annoying, but they are just criticizing – and not creating. We have more than enough of them.

World needs creative & sincerely helping people like you.

Salve, a me piace molto Joe Vitale, mi piacciono molto i libri che scrive e quello che dice, ma purtroppo non conosco la lingua, quando ci sarà il sito con la traduzione in italiano?

To be frank, what a piece of bullshit!
You would do a lot more good for the world if you started to spread understanding of human induced global warming and induced people to take action instead of doing meditation

You might want to re-read the post and note all the action I requested. Meanwhile, thank you for proving my point.

Thank you, Joe, for the laugh. I was first surprised that you even responded, then I wondered what I would read. You are full of love and understanding to a degree that actually made me litterally laugh out loud. I love you.

Hi Joe

I have had immense value from your blog, books, articles, videos and so on.

As for your statement about the fires representing our internal anger….

Perhaps there is good in this too somehow…A teacher told me that any event (even if they seem tragic in nature like death, disease, loss, etc) that brings us closer to our Creator…is ultimately good

And any event that take us away from our Creator (even if they seem good) is ultimately bad

as Emerson said: “The whole course of things goes to teach us faith.”

But yes….we must all do our part do heal ourselves, and the rest of humanity

Joe-
Thank you. Love your work. The call to action for Texas was inspired and I’m gladly participating. Looks like you’ve touched some hearts (and some others’ nerves). BTW, the message in Italian says:
“Hi, I really like Joe Vitale, I really like the books he writes and what he says, but unfortunately I do not know the language, when will the site be translated into Italian?”
Peace and blessings to you!

you look much older than you are or is it just my impression? or maybe you didn’t say “i’m sorry, please forgive me” as many time as you should to not receive negative comments?
donk.

Hello Joe,

Moving on to a different topic, I sincerely think it’s time to give a “once and for all” response to the people who doubt your academic credentials. All of us who got acquainted with your work and mentality will not be affected whatsoever, but I think that you should now allow people to mess with your reputation. You owe to yourself!

Again, thanks for your inspiration!

Best,

K

Thank you for your support. No matter what I say or do or prove, there will always be a critic or two. My body of published work alone can out weigh any need for academic credentials. I simply don’t pay attention to people who mess with my reputation. I’ve been online for decades and the wonderful people I hear from every day, such as yourself, are who I work for. Again, thank you.

Dear Joe,
Thanks for the beautiful messages you’ve been sending out about the wildfires, about attracting our good, and about finding the spiritual source. I’ve been sending people in your direction by posting links in my newsletter to your articles, products and gifts. Thank you, Joe!

Thank you, Marilyn. The day I posted my second blog about the fires, it started to rain. I love it!

Hi!
I was in San Antonio last weekend, and every day, I did a rain dance asking God to please send down the rain to help the land and the people. Some people thought I was nuts (I am :-D ) but it sprinkled every single day until the last night when it poured down with a beautiful lightening show.
It wouldn’t have occurred to me had I not read your blog and studies your teachings that a) Texas needs rain and b) I can make a difference when I have a whole heart engaged.
Thank you. I love you. I’m sorry I haven’t taught more people about you and forgive me for gushing.
