The more ideas become available, the better chance that the public will be able to make intelligent choices in their lives. On the other hand, the old vanity presses are rejoicing in their ability to make profits off many customers' projects, rather than having to scratch for the few who could (and would) pay their exorbitant prices. Nowadays, any individual can get anything published on the cheap, regardless of its quality or merits. As a result, the admonition to "let the buyer beware" has never been so pertinent to readers.
